Today I felt a tug in my Spirit and I felt that the enemy was targeting many women out there on their worth.

It's not a coincidence that last night I was going through some of my things and I found this game aimed at youth groups and it had some activities on it. I opened it up just out of curiosity and I just reminisced about the times when I used to go to youth group and play all of these games that would often have a lesson and a purpose.

One game was about buying candy and for each candy someone would say something about a category, and the other game was the one on being asked if you want 10 dollars. Yup, if you want 10 dollars... I know, you might thinking, "I want to play a game like that" haha!  Same.

Now that we're on the same page...

The purpose of this game was to stomp on, sit on, and even put the 10 dollars in your armpit whilst still asking people if they still wanted the 10 dollars.

People still want it because they know that it's still 10 dollars.

Even when it goes through cities, banks, hands (God forbid some Corona might be stuck on there) and knowing all this, and in spite of this, people are willing to still pick it up, dust it off, and know that it's 10 dollars.

How about you?

Are you believing the LIE (and I intentionally put this in all caps because it gets me so upset to think of what the enemy tries to do with Gods children) that you have no worth because you've been through stuff?

Also, are you believing the lie: that because others may not see you as Christ sees you, that indeed you are worthless?

It's a lie.

I am confident in that because Jesus did one powerful act that solidified the only way to become one again with God and in that (amongst other aspects of course) to discover on how you were already created in the image of God.

"For God bought you with a high price. So you must honour God with your body" 1 Cor 6:20

The first part of this verse shows us that you were bought at a price - this is past-tense, it has already happened; you're not waiting for it to happen, you're not waiting for anything else or anyone else to do that for you. It is done. That means yes, you were once for "sale" meaning you were being held at ransom, but Jesus paid the highest of highest price for you.

The second part of this verse shows that because we know this and have been shown this, that we should honor God with our bodies. I know I know, a lot of people just think of something sexual when they read this, or how they dress. But did you ever consider your eye gates and ear gates, what you are watching and/or listening to, as well?

I know for me, times when I only followed one type of image on Instagram, I started to feel like I had to be that type of person or way, which was a lie. The truth of the matter is, God created me the way He created me and He has created you the way He has created you.

This doesn't mean that you no longer have bad days or feel insecure. If anything, what occurs is that a daily exchange happens that can only be authentically done on a foundation that is in Christ. On His foundation, you get to bring in what you feel, what you see, what you hear and so forth, and you get to have an encounter with the One who sits on the Most Highest Throne about what He sees, what He's doing, what He wants for you, how He sees you, about what you are reading in His Word, and where He needs you to be in your day to day life. The filter is founded in Him.

I challenge you, to start building on that foundation, I challenge you to not let peoples' perceptions or your own to become a standard, I challenge you to think about what is becoming a part of that foundation; I challenge you to walk fearlessly out of any fire knowing that you encountered God through it and that He showed you how it was now a part of the refiners fire and not you putting any more credit in the enemy's camp or allowing the enemy to live rent free in your mind. I challenge us, not just you, but me too.

So, YES. YOU WERE and ARE and ALWAYS WILL BE WORTH IT BECAUSE OF WHAT JESUS DID AND IS. DON'T BELIEVE THE LIE.
